In March 2005, I had no idea that I would be a full-time Linux user. I had no idea I would be a regular member (God forbid a moderator<\/i>) of a Linux forum. I had no idea part of my Psychocats website would be dedicated to Linux tutorials. <\/p>\n
Now it’s June 2007, and I already feel (two years later) that it’s time to retire from the Ubuntu Forums. I’ve put in two short terms as a forum moderator. I’ve posted 25,000 posts. I’ve tried my best to help new users and to provide realistic (not exaggerated) advocacy and PR for Ubuntu. <\/p>\n
I’ve encountered wonderful human beings—intelligent and giving human beings who live up to and beyond the Ubuntu motto of “Humanity toward others.” That community’s giving spirit and openness is inspiring. Nevertheless, it’s a chapter I’m closing right now. <\/p>\n
I’ll still keep using Ubuntu. I’ll still upkeep Psychocats. I’ll keep blogging. But I’m on indefinite break from the forums.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
