Then, the other day on the Ubuntu Forums, I was looking for a way to create a keyboard shortcut for emptying the trash in Gnome (not immediately, but with a confirmation dialogue), and the fine folk at the Forums suggested I use Zenity to have a shell script create a graphical confirmation dialogue (&#8220;Are you sure you want to permanently delete items from the trash?&#8221;). <\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/ubuntuforums.org\/showthread.php?p=3018665#post3018665\">Here&#8217;s the solution<\/a>, in case anyone&#8217;s curious. <\/p>\n<p> Zenity&#8217;s cool.
