I’d heard of Zenity before, but I had no idea what it was. Then, the other day on the Ubuntu Forums, I was looking for a way to create a keyboard shortcut for emptying the trash in Gnome (not immediately, but with a confirmation dialogue), and the fine folk at the Forums suggested I use Zenity to have a shell script create a graphical confirmation dialogue (“Are you sure you want to permanently delete items from the trash?”). <\/p>\n
