  1. Carter was wrong about many things; many of them more important than this issue. At the very least he was wrong about how to handle Tehran and Southwest Asia.

Reagan got it right…but forgot to leave directions for everyone else who followed him into the Oval Office.

Bush 1 was on to a good thing, thanks to his mentor, but relied too heavily on his former buddy with Christians In Action (aka: the CIA) and as a result didn’t bother to let Stormin’ Norman finish the job. It took me a long time to come to terms with- and agree with- the warmongers who wanted us to level Bagdhad at the time…and I was there!

Clinton was too caught up in the best way to christen his newest cigar/intern/cigar to worry overmuch about Southwest Asia. Had we been lucky enough to have another Reagan to follow Clinton, 9-11-2001 might have been prevented. Hindsight is always 20/20.

Bush 2….well, I wish I had a picture of every cutie I saw bantering about the slogan “The Only Bush I Trust Is My Own”, but that’s about the bottom line: Bush 2 was a total screwup and made the mistake of re-trusting his father’s CIA crony (who shall remain nameless, the egomaniac, egocentric, greedy li’l b*stard).

And Das Furer? Well, he’s got some great ideas but is woefully understaffed with people that don’t know Southwest Asia from Southeast Asia…and now we find ourselves in a Vietnam-ish quagmire with no end in sight. Our only hope to Tehran (thanks again to Carter) is for Israel to get off their duffs and take care of business when they finally realize that Obama is paying them lip service.
