Of course, &quot;be chill&quot; fits in with the theme better, but if you go with the &quot;to mitigate or offset the effects of&quot; (dictionary.com) meaning of &quot;beat&quot; instead of the &quot;beat up&quot; meaning, it seems fine both ways.</description>
