In L7, I believe it's all women who play the instruments. But then again they all sing, too. I've seen many bands in which the guys play all the instruments and write all or most of the music, and the girl sings. Rarely have I seen a band in which the girls play all the instruments and write all or most of the music, and the guy sings.
