Here's a dark comedy about a couple whose marriage is falling apart, and, for some sick reason, being taken hostage mends the ruins of their union together. Well, the basic storyline is hogwash, of course, and most of the movie is pretty mediocre, but there are funny bits, particularly on the parts of Judy Davis and B.D. Wong. Kevin Spacey is usually a good actor--though, in this production he doesn't turn out his best performance. I don't know if Denis Leary is any good at all--certainly not in this movie. If you like dark comedies totally lacking in credibility, try this one.
