The trailer to this movie will mislead you. It is not some silly comedy, as the crying line, "I want a divooooorrrce!" will lead you to believe. It is a romantic comedy with a nice touch of action and drama. Matthew Modine, Michelle Pfeiffer, Oliver Platt, Mercedes Ruehl, and Dean Stockwell all do wonderful jobs in their respective roles. Oh, and the soundtrack (which features New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle") is killer. Really, though, the saving grace of the film is the fact that Alec Baldwin's character gets shot within the first half hour.
