Arguably the best Hayao Miyazaki movie there is. This is the coming-of-age story of a young witch in some hybrid world of Scandinavia and Japan. There is cuteness, amazing handdrawn animation, real human drama, an appropriate score, and lots of fun. You will be doing yourself a great harm by either not seeing this movie or by watching it dubbed. You must see the subtitled version... I'm not just being a purist snob. The dubbed version really does suck.
