Don't get fooled by the name. This movie was originally entitled
Claustrophobia and is a smartly written and crafted endeavor for a low budget and short screen time (around 80 minutes). On the one hand, you could view
Serial Slayer with an eye for all the clichés of a horror film. On the other hand, you can notice the original touches it adds to every cliché. Independent film fanatics who understand all the little bits and pieces that go into a good movie (exposition, character development, motivation, etc.) will appreciate the little nuances. Unfortunately, the movie will be over before you know it, and the ending isn't a very satisfying one.
