Matt Modine is a bad actor. I love him in movies, though. He's always cocky but still manages to be likable. This is your typical romantic comedy. Boy and girl meet. Boy likes girl. Girl hates boy. They flirt. They sleep together. They have misunderstandings. I don't think it's giving away too much to say that boy and girl end up together. I can imagine medical students might hate this movie. It seems inaccurate and campy, but who cares? How many movies
are there about medical school, anyway? Plus, there's a major supporting character who's Asian-American or at least Hapa, and she has no fake accent.
Gross Anatomy won't make anyone's top 100 movie list, but it's innocuous and fun for the most part.
