I should've known that Pixar cannot fail. They simply can't. The trailer looked a little contrived, formulaic, etc. Out of curiosity, I went to see it anyway. I was blown away! The film was
funny, refreshingly funny. And the animation was simply incredibly. The three or four moments in
Toy Story where you had to do a double-take to figure out the sets were computer-generated and not real turned into half of the movie in
Finding Nemo... and, then, even after the double-take, you still couldn't tell! The one caution I have about the movie is that, despite a G rating, it is quite serious. I know my brother cried when Bambi's mother died. If you are/have a four-year-old kid with a weak heart, don't see this film. It has some rather, shocking, sad, and serious moments... the film's a bit tragic. For adults, though, you are in for quite a ride!
