The plot of this movie is totally stupid: two American tourists travel to Scotland, one gets bitten by a werewolf, he later becomes a werewolf after staying in a London hospital, and he falls in love with the nurse taking care of him. It's a good thing the director realized how silly the plot is because the movie's hilarious, and there's a definite campy feel to the film, despite occasional moments of seriousness. In order to fully appreciate
Werewolf, you have to just watch it for the humor. Anyone who sees it for "plot" will gag when she/he sees the two main characters sleep together (with almost no motivation).
