The one criticism of this film I've heard is the improbability of the ending--too many coincidences, too
deus ex machina. That was one criticism from one person. Everyone else I know
loves this movie. It's not the best movie there is, but it's compelling, original, funny, and sad--all at once. The soundtrack is killer. The acting's okay (for the young people). Chazz Palminteri and Robert DeNiro are great, of course. You have interracial romance, doo wop groups, "the door test," and a bus driver. How can you lose?
